Things to see and do Somosomo

5 min by taxi from Somosomo, then 15 min walk to reach these natural slides drawn in rocks and fed by a waterfall! It is better to wear shorts than a bathing suit, because you can damage it. Rainbow Reef is one of Fiji's most famous dive sites. Located in the Somosomo Strait, between Taveuni and Vanua Levu, divers can choose either of these 2 islands to discover the Rainbow Reef. The Zoo: one of Rainbow Re ef's most famous dive sites, and as the name suggests, you'll come across a host of marine animals: manta rays, sharks, barracudas, moray eels and more. It's also a soft coral paradise.

Purple Wall: a surprising dive along a wall up to 60 meters deep, covered in soft corals of purple and pinkish hues. Here, you'll find hard corals and just as many fish.

The Great White Wall: another popular Rainbow Reef site, with a multitude of hard and soft corals. Access to the Great White Wall is via a tunnel with a first exit at a depth of around ten meters and a second exit at around 25 meters.

Yellow Tunnel: here, the corals are yellow and soft, and the depth of the tunnel ranges from 9 to 24 meters. White-tip sharks are a regular sight.

Fish Factory: a magnificent display of marine life featuring turtles, moray eels, sharks and manta rays.
