GALWAY UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

University Hospital Galway is a major hospital in Galway. Managed by the Saolta University Health Care Group, it offers a wide range of services to patients in emergency and consultation, inpatient and outpatient care. The 521-bed hospital was built in 1924. It plays a leading role in the provision of acute health services and is also a designated regional center for cancer and cardiology services, serving a population of around one million in the West of Ireland region.
