The National 1798 Rebellion Centre tells the story of the Irish Rebellion of 1798. This museum, suitable for the whole family, tells the story of the struggle of the United Irishmen and the different strategies put in place during the uprising against the domination of Great Britain, up to the decisive battle of Vinegar Hill which took place near Enniscorthy. A well done and interactive exhibition, which explains perfectly the context of this event.
