The most pleasant hostel on the beach, with a terrace-restaurant on stilts and a tiny swimming pool.
Located right on the beach, at the end of the road leading to Gbekon, the Inn is housed in an old colonial building and encompasses a spacious and flowery domain. Mounted on stilts, the terrace-restaurant, although swept by the sea spray, is the most pleasant place. Facing the sea, a dozen tables and a menu that highlights local products await you. In the morning, homemade jams (coconut, green papaya, etc.) are on the breakfast menu. Next to it, a tiny swimming pool can accommodate a few splashes.

We arriving unfortunate that one thing: not to have provided a longer stay! The place is magical. The coconut trees, the ocean, the architecture of this hotel, everything is there to feel good.
This group has a price, built a little for the standards of the country… Never mind, it is worth it nevertheless.

A little paradise and a good place to rest far from the crowds of the neighbouring towns. You can enjoy the fresh and breathe in the fresh sea air. Although comfort is Spartan it is very good and the place is clean and well maintained. The staff is adorable. The owner however at all. Contrary to what is known as the sly little minx there is a Beninese guide offered by the hotel to arrange walk tourists (notably descent Mono river in canoeing to the mouth of Roy) It accepts euros (£70 for the grand tour). Beware of those who leave Sunday credit cards are not accepted this day! species should be provided. And there are no atm machines with Grand Popo weekend €150 costs around for a single.
The place is heavenly directly overlooking the Atlantic. Charming architecture " coloniale" , the friendliness and availability staff, decoration, paintings and African masks. Some fake notes however, If the meat is tender, the freshness of served fish really leaves something to be desired, and the price of a much prohibitory coffee. Except for that is better to stop.
