15 minutes from the center of Cotonou, Le Centre is one of the beating hearts of Cotonou's artistic creation. This hybrid space is composed of the Petit Musée de la Récade, an exhibition dedicated to the recade, a royal scepter in the form of a stick or axe dating from the Kingdom of Dahomey, a space dedicated to temporary exhibitions, especially of contemporary art, but also a stage and a bar. The Center also hosts artists in residence.
