The French Institute of Benin, with its library and brasserie, organizes exhibitions, concerts, plays...

Rather active, the French Institute of Benin (formerly the French Cultural Center) organizes throughout the year exhibitions, concerts, debates on sometimes difficult subjects such as child trafficking in Benin. The Institute also programs films and plays. The library of the IFB is open to students and a pleasant brasserie allows you to enjoy a gourmet break with some sandwiches, but also more elaborate dishes and grilled meats.

Very welcoming staff, park to see inside with sculptures of modern art and cultural program shows diverse at affordable prices for the Europeans.

Good place to enjoy a little " culture". I saw the " Battantes" women; on July 16th with the open-air theatre of the center for a very reasonable price (3000CFA = 4,70€). What a show!
The Centre also offers language courses (I am not French: -)).
