Popular with backpackers, this establishment offers an open-air restaurant and rooms with wi-fi access.
The Codiam is a very well known address in the capital and appreciated by travelers with full backpacks and rather empty pockets who want to sleep in very good conditions. There is even Wifi in each of the 60 rooms. To make matters worse, the reception is always helpful and very smiley. The establishment also offers an open-air restaurant, very practical and above all very pleasant to enjoy breakfast, lunch or even a good dinner to recover from a long day's visit.

The best address' budget 'with Cotonou. Accommodation catholic cheap and very safe, reliable and relatively pleasant. Spartan comfort.
We spent 7 nights and Codiam was for us.
Benefits: attractive prices. Restaurant on site very decent (often have been eating us evening there).
Very good comfort and cleanliness.
Faults: Staff are not always smiling. It is often noisy.
Shared bathroom for 2 rooms.

For comfort similar (i.e very simple), there are less expensive: Centre Paul VI.
2000F dormitory where I found me alone several days. Much quieter, cheaper and even level of comfort.
For the reception, the same, I clearly preferred the friendliness of Centre Paul VI with very basic hospitality Codiam which is used to brewing tourists!

Confort très basique, propreté un peu limite. Malgré la chaleur et la fatigue, j'ai trouvé l'endroit relativement calme. C'était peut-être dû à une période où peu de chambres étaient occupées.
Repas très correct.
En résumé, bien pour passer une nuit à l'arrivée à Cotonou.
