Clean, comfortable rooms. You don't have to take the deluxe room - apart from the minibar, it doesn't change much. The facilities are neither good nor bad, but the whole is quite pleasant. Of course, you'll be the only foreigner staying here. The Splash is close to the historic center, Fort Marlborough, the Governor's House and the Thomas Parr monument (a British governor beheaded by the locals in 1807). For a more upscale experience, we recommend the Mercure hotel further in the center of town.
