Inaugurated on November 10, 1968, this nine-hectare complex includes six performing arts theaters, cinemas, an exhibition hall, a gallery, libraries and an archive building. Excellent program of dance and theater performances, poetry readings (very much in vogue in Indonesia!), gamelan concerts and films. For program details, consult the Jakarta Post, or ask at major hotels or the Tourist Office.
