The library of the French Institute of Ivory Coast makes available to its members a general fund of some 41,000 books (of which more than 33,000 are available in loan), including the Great Encyclopedic Dictionary of Côte d 'Ivoire compiled by Raymond Borremans, or the encyclopedia of Félix Houx's speeches Phouët-Boigny. There are also forty French and Ivorian magazines and periodicals. In this peaceful temple of knowledge and curiosity frequented exclusively by studious Ivorian students, there is also a wide selection of novels, magazines, beautiful books and books of human sciences, as well as numerous interesting and richly documented books about the country - many of which are no longer published today and very rarely available in trade - and books in foreign languages (Arabic, Arabic, Spanish and other). The institution also has a library of the learner, with various books and teaching books for those wishing to learn French. The subscription to the library is 5,000 FCFA/year for schoolchildren (from 6 th), 6,000 FCFA/year for students, and 12,000 FCFA/year for adults (to register, carry an identity photo and 2 stamped envelopes). It should be noted that the establishment offers preferential rates for student groups (from 10 people) and that subscription to the library allows for discounts on performances organized by the Institut français.
