In the centre of the city, the Victoria Archaeological Park houses the remains of the ancient Tomis, founded by settlers of the Greek city of Miletus au VIe Century B.C. (Constanţa kept many remains of that time). Here you can see a tower reconstructed during the Byzantine emperor Justinian (middle of the century), but also the Roman wall dating from the th century. and a beautiful collection of pottery.
