CASINO
Read moreLocated on the seafront, this magnificent Art Nouveau construction is the city's emblem. This is in any case the best known building in Constanţa. Built in 1910 to become a pavilion of Queen Elisabeta, the French architect Daniel Renard was the Architect of his construction. In the 1980 s, the building was completely restored. Now we appreciate its large terrace and the surrounding area. The casino is in work and you can only admire it from outside. In front of you is a small Aquarium (Acvariu, open from 9 am to 20 pm).

IRISH PUB
Read moreIt's a local institution. Guinness, of course, but also teas, coffee specialities, fresh fruit juices, etc. A wide range of wines, whiskies and cocktails are also available on the menu. Inside the brick building, the wood-panelled decor makes it a warm place, extended by a very pleasant veranda with a view of the sea. Concerts take place there from time to time. We also serve a very good and original international cuisine: risottos, oriental plate, octopus with mango sauce... Good breakfasts.

CLUB PHOENIX
Read moreNorth of downtown Constanța, on the way to Mamaia, this festive venue programs numerous concerts, mainly Romanian rock, but also jazz and blues. Opened in 1997, it is one of the city's historic clubs. If you don't like the atmosphere, you can easily move on to another club nearby, Heaven's Hell (strada Crobului 1, Thursday to Saturday, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.). It, too, is geared towards rock, and more generally towards alternative music (hip-hop, reggae, dubstep...).
