Whether you're a vegetarian or not, it would be a shame not to try your hand at what was the first restaurant of its kind to open in Timișoara. Here, additives and preservatives are not allowed and, as the restaurant's name suggests, the fruit and vegetables used are organic. A quick glance at the menu already makes our mouths water, with original dishes such as fig pate with chilli or, as a sweet ending, a soft basil-cashew nut dish. Promises that are kept on the plate, all for a very reasonable price.

Beyond the porch, you'll find a lovely green courtyard, shaded by a large cherry tree. The wooden terrace is scattered with mismatched wooden and wrought-iron tables and chairs. A bucolic setting in the heart of the city! The interior is elegant too, a rustic-chic apartment with parquet flooring. The music is soft and the service pleasant. On the menu, tasty and original cuisine, blending Romanian and more exotic influences, as evidenced by the few Indian or Thai flavors on the menu.

It's a restaurant where locals like to go for special occasions. Located just south of the center, it specializes in fish and seafood. You'll enjoy all kinds of refined dishes with iodized and Mediterranean flavors, in carefully presented plates. You'll also find a number of meat and vegetarian dishes. The setting is resolutely designer, bright and uncluttered. When the weather's fine, you'll be able to enjoy a magnificent green terrace, complete with a lovely pool.
