An intense musical life of the XVIII century half when a young musician Johann Michael Haydn brother of the composer Joseph Haydn was names organist and driver has the courtyard of the bishop Patachich Adam. It was followed by Karl Ditters von Dittersdorf. the first philharmonic concert takes place on 5th January 1888 has Oradea. In 1923 has Oradea was founded the philharmonic company that has organises all concerts since 1924. In 1949 the philharmonic society became institution of state and in 2003 it receives the room that was baptisee Enescu Bartok as a onor of the two composers who have concerts has Oradea and in the name of the multi-culturalism of the city. Today every Thursday of the stagion takes place here magnificent concerts of the orchestra simphonic of Oradea.
