This historic building was the residence of Ion Rațiu, exiled opponent under communism, candidate in the 1990 presidential election and member of parliament. His family turned the property, which spans a stream, into an elegant hotel, conference venue and cultural café. In summer, the place teems with events. The old house features a kitchen and a cosy lounge with sofas, a fireplace and a large communal table. The rooms are very comfortable and tastefully furnished. We also love the garden, immersed in greenery.

Close to the main square, this 4-star hotel complex is a medieval castle with its quirky architecture, towers and stone facings. You will see hunting trophies, armour and furniture made of carved wood or wrought iron, which recreate a slightly kitschy medieval atmosphere. The restaurant, which offers game specialities among other things, has several rooms, including one with a Dracula theme.
