GARE FERROVIAIRE

The main railway station is 300 m west of the main square. Trains to Sfântu Gheorghe and Brașov (8 per day), Bucharest (3 per day), Sighetu Marmației (1 per day, 9h), Gheorgheni (8 per day, 1-2h) and Târgu Ocna (4 per day, 3h). International trains to Budapest (1 per day, 1 p.m.). Ciceu station, 7 km to the north, hosts trains to Adjud, on the north-south line from Bucharest to Moldova and the west-east line from Cluj to Moldova. The two stations are connected by numerous trains and by bus 22 (not very frequent).
