Luxury and opulence are on the menu at this sublime 4-star guesthouse. Right next to the Catholic Cathedral, in the heart of the citadel, it occupies a magnificent mansion where the Saxon chronicler Georgius Krauss lived in the ^17th century. All nine rooms are decorated with antique Italian-style furniture, handcrafted and carved by hand. Each room has its own unique decor and furnishings: one has a four-poster bed, another features a ^17th-century fresco, and still others are attic rooms nestling under beautiful exposed beams.
