To the south of Piaţa Mare, this lively pedestrian shopping street is a beautiful row of old houses with thick walls, some of which date back more than two centuries. In summer, the terraces blossom. At this time of year, you'll also notice the presence of unusual inhabitants: storks, who have taken up residence on the town's rooftops. At the beginning of the street, you'll find the striking Hotel Împăratul Românilor, housed in an imposing 19th-century building that has welcomed the likes of Franz Liszt, Johann Strauss and King Carol I.

les rues piétonnes Sibiu sont super, toutes les maisons sont restaurées, pas de voitures cela permet de profiter au mieux de tous les sites et d'y faire les visites ay-u calme, beaucoup de commerces et de bons restaurants

C'est une rue très vivante, très agréable. On apprécie s'arreter à une terrasse, notamment l'été. Les maisons et batiments qui la longent sont rénovés, et dans un style ancien. Elle débouche sur la grande place qui est toujours très animé l'été

le centre ville de Sibiu et particulièrement cette rue, est animé, attrayant, commercial avec de nombreux bars et restaurants. Il est très agréable de s'y promener et je vous conseille particulièrement les gateaux en forme de couronne qui sont vendus par une petite trappe ouverte de la patisserie (on entre pas dans la boutique) la meilleure est facile à trouver c'est celle ou la file d'attente est la plus longue !!!
Pour le parking (gratuit) je conseille celui situé en face du marché qui vaut également une visite, il se trouve à 5 minutes à pied du centre ville piétonnier.

It is the commercial- tourist street in the historic center of Sibiu. It is pleasant to stroll, eat a gogosi and enjoy a cold drink. At Christmas the street is very decorated. If you are driving, do not forget to buy maps of parking, almost all places are available in the region.
