HOTEL VILLA PRATO ^{* * * *}

On the edge of the old town, this is a remarkable residence, with an entrance porch that feels like a Greek temple. The 6 bedrooms are particularly large and splendid, all with dark wood panelling and vaulted ceilings. All have large bathrooms and dressing rooms. Breakfast is varied and copious, offering a wide choice of organic produce, smoothies and fresh fruit juices. It's served on the lovely veranda. There's also a tiny, charming garden. The icing on the cake is the superb view of Mount Tâmpa.
