Kingston's largest popular market is held on either side of the Parade, the central park in downtown Kingston. Queens and Kings Streets are the main thoroughfares of this market, which is especially busy on Saturdays. You can find everything from fruits and vegetables to clothing. The market is noisy and crowded, but you'll be immersed in the flavors, smells and colors of Jamaica. Don't expect to do too much business there, there is a lot of cheap junk. Go without any conspicuous valuables and beware of pickpockets.
