KANYARU BORDER CROSSING-HIGH

It is one of the main border crossings between Burundi and Rwanda. Before the manual of the Kirundo-Gasenyi road in the north-east of the country, it was even the most important crossing point between the two countries. Vehicle crossings still remain constant.

From Kayanza, it takes about minutes to reach the border by minibus or taxi. We can look, through this post, to travel to Butare, a great intellectual city in Rwanda, where there is also a Rwandan museum of culture that deserves a glance (about 40 km). Plan to have a visa before arriving there.
