The museum is located on the site of Heungdeoksa Temple. It is exactly here that the oldest book in the world (Jikji) was printed in 1337, thanks to removable characters. 78 years before the Gutenberg Bible! This small, well-made museum is dedicated to the history of printing in Korea. 650 objects are on display, including metal and wooden books from Goryeo and Joseon, as well as various printing tools. The museum offers explanations in English.
