In this festival, it's the mud that we celebrate! This crazy event is one of the best and one of the most fun!

Every year in July, a mud festival is organized, featuring photo contests, mud baths, massages and various activities related or unrelated to the healing properties of the mud for which Boryeong is famous. It can be quite funny to see all the mud-coated summer visitors strutting their stuff. There's even a Miss Vase election! Silt baths are only held in summer. This zany festival is ideal for the whole family!
