DURYUNSAN PROVINCIAL PARK

A few kilometres south of Haenam is the pretty Duryunsan Park. It is small and low (703 m), but from the top of its mountains, you can see the sea and enjoy beautiful subtropical vegetation. It houses Daedunsa, a very beautiful temple rarely visited. The tourist village is not very pleasant so we prefer to stay in Haenam or in the small yeogwan near the temple. A shuttle bus runs from the village to the entrance of the temple. We can also go by car.
