YUDALSAN MOUNTAIN

Even if it is not very high, this mountain offers a good panoramic view of the city as well as the sea. It has a temple, an orchid garden and a sculpture park. At Nojeokbong Peak stands a statue of Admiral Yi Sun Sin. This famous admiral repulsed, thanks to a fine stratagem, the Japanese troops during the Imjin War. He asked his men to create straw statues to make the Japanese believe that there were many of them. Success! The Japanese have fled. This place is really a famous spot.
