Korea's first official beach with white sand and clear water, hosting the famous Busan Sea Festival every year.
Opened in 1913, it was Korea's first official beach. Although not the most famous, it's quite pretty. Its sand remains white and its water clear despite its proximity to the city. At night, it's quite romantic. Every year, the famous Busan Sea Festival takes place here, featuring cultural performances, concerts and other festive events. Its location is ideal, as it's very close to the Jagalchi market. In summer, it's much less crowded than Haeundae beach.
