Herbal market in Daegu with herbs and elixirs from Chinese-Korean medicine, with a festival in mid-May.

This 700 m long herbal market, created by Joseon's Hyojong King, was once the largest market of this kind in Korea, and took place near Gaeksa (now Trouble Gamyeong Park) before being moved to this place in 1908. As in his séoulite counterpart, you can find all the herbs and elixirs of Korean-Chinese medicine and you can get diagnose and prescribe on-site treatment. A festival takes place in mid May.
