SOYANGHO LAKE AND CHEONGPYEONGSA TEMPLE

It is the main attraction of the region. We can do a 16 km tour on the lake. It's pretty pretty when the water level is high. You can also take a ferry to Cheongpyeongsa Temple. From the boat stop, we have to walk about 30 minutes to the temple. The Cheongpyeongsa temple must have been quite large, but it was razed during the war. Founded in 973, only the main Hoejeonmun gate remains as the original building.
