Roche du Dernier, an eruptive rock known to all climbers, with a superb panorama of the Campo Belo river

A very beautiful viewpoint! The Rock of the Last or ultimate Farewell, at 810 m of altitude, offers a superb panorama on the river Campo Belo and on the mountain range of the park. It is of eruptive origin. Rich in bauxite, it is known by all climbers as being composed of a granite that lends itself admirably to rock climbing. However, it was only in 1999 that a trio of well-known Brazilian climbers, including the Guedes brothers, Jorge and Fabio Coreà, conquered the summit. Of course, you can reach the viewpoint without climbing!
