This highly recognizable 259 m-high, yellow-lit German tower was designed by a famous architect.

Europe's tallest skyscraper until 2005, this German tower is recognizable from afar thanks to its yellow lighting. The Commerzbank tower has dethroned the Messeturm as the best-known skyscraper in "Mainhattan". The 259-metre-high tower was designed by American architectural celebrity Norman Foster in 1997. The restaurant here is well worth a visit outside lunchtime, to enjoy the panorama in peace and quiet, as the place gets very noisy during peak periods.

Commerzbank Tower is located in Frankfurt was inaugurated in May 1997 and is the largest skyscraper of the European Union. The building is eponymous German bank that has its headquarters.
Culminating at 258.7 feet (), it was also the largest skyscraper Europe before the construction from Naberezhnaya Tower in Moscow.
It is an office building of steel structure.
