Built on a decision by the last Shah of Iran, the island is now touring very much towards tourism and trade. If there are still some wild parts, most of the land has been preempted by five-star hotels and state-of-the-art shopping centers. Less authentic than Qeshm, Kich does the happiness of the Iranian classes in search of freedom. Like Qeshm, it benefits from a status of free zone and rapidly expanding infrastructure dedicated to leisure. Scuba diving, jetski, parachute parachute, boat rental… beaches, where unmixed bathing is limited to a few sectors. Despite this holiday air, Islamic law is still present, and alcohol also remains totally banned, as in the rest of the country.The island has approximately 30,000 inhabitants and hosts 1,700,000 visitors per year. It is a free trade area where the main sport is not bathing, not diving, but shopping! This consumer paradise houses many shopping centers, shops, tourist attractions and hotels. Don't look for authenticity or local traditions!
