JAMEH MOSQUE
Built fifty years ago, this mosque intrigues by its eccentric interior. Ahmadi Parviz, architect of the place, wanted to mix different Arab styles. The Koranic scriptures are Saudi design, white columns in the inspired gold net of Byzantium and the structure of North Africa. Only the mirhab, indentation whose imam leads prayer in blue ceramics, recalls Iranian mosques. The result is a singular one, more the impression of being in a royal mansion than a mosque. Locate the dome and black peaks surmounted by black peaks.
