BAYFIELD IRON BRIDGE TRAIL

This is the iron bridge that spans the small river of Bayfield, visible from Washington Avenue, near the bookstore. Very pretty, it seems to be hanging in the trees. The view from the Iron Bridge, especially in autumn, is spectacular. Don't hesitate to take the short hike through it. Very short (about 1.2 km), it nevertheless involves going up and down the stairs (a bit steep!) that lead to the bridge. But your efforts will be rewarded.
