JOHN BEARGREASE SLED DOG MARATHON

Dog sled marathon, held every winter. 50 teams of 12 dogs start a 600 km race through the deep forests of northern Lake Superior. During the race, which lasts five days continuously, teams have to go through checkpoints lost in the middle of nowhere, or almost. During this adventure, which is accompanied by galas and concerts, the city is in turmoil, even when it's -20°C.
