GRAND OLD DAY

After months of freezing temperatures, Saint Paul celebrates the arrival of summer with great pomp and circumstance! An entire day, usually the first Sunday in June, is dedicated to this celebration, which is held on Grand Avenue in the heart of the city. With more than one hundred and fifty stands (of food, crafts, jewellery and more), free concerts and street performances, the atmosphere is festive. The festivities begin around 9am and end around 7pm. Public transport is free all day long.
