GRAND GENEVA RESORT AND SPA

An American-style resort with a golf course, large swimming pool, tennis courts, gym, bike rentals, spa and restaurants overlooking the small private lake. People now come here as couples or families, but the large building, built in 1968, was originally called the "Lake Geneva Playboy Club Hotel". Here, hostesses dressed in white and black with a white pompom on their behinds served cocktails to wealthy Chicagoans.
