Small museum in Chicago organizing concerts, screenings and discussions with African-American artists.

It is the first independent museum in the United States dedicated to the art, culture and history of African Americans, traced through photos and paintings from slavery to the Civil Rights movement. The museum also regularly organizes concerts, screenings and debates with African-American artists. It's a small museum whose existence is highly relevant today, not least because of the racial tensions reigning in Chicago and the rest of the country.
