CIBC THEATRE

The CIBC Theatre is located in the Loop area, just steps from State Street. It presents Broadway shows and is operated by the Broadway in Chicago company. Opened in 1906 as the Majestic Theatre, in 1920 it became part of the Orpheum circuit and presented many celebrities, including vaudeville actor Eddie Foy, magician Harry Houdini, actress Lillie Langtry and singer Mabel McKinley. Numerous successful productions were regularly presented there, including great musicals.
