Pasta Bowl has 3 restaurants in Chicago, including the one in Wicker Park. With no pretensions to being a gourmet place, you come here to eat a good plate of pasta, quite simply. Big eaters beware: the dishes are served in gigantic portions. It's served in a very Italian-American style, with a very good tomato sauce with a hint of ketchup! The pasta dishes are up to the task, albeit quickly filling. The decor is nothing extraordinary, but the friendliness of the staff and the good-natured atmosphere do the rest.
