An independent pizzeria whose perfectly executed pizza has earned it recognition from the Chicago Triibune.
If we feel compelled to try the deep-dish pizza served in this tiny boui-boui restaurant, it's because a survey published by the Chicago Tribune a few years ago placed it at the top of the list of the city's best pizzas (and given the competition, that's saying a lot!). And it's true that The Art of Pizza's deep-dish pizza does everything right: its crust is thick and chewy, and its tomato sauce is full of flavor. We also like the fact that this is an independent pizzeria, which makes a nice change from the chains.
