PEMBROKE HERITAGE MURALS

Located in downtown Pembroke, these murals celebrate the rich and varied heritage of this area through time with large-scale paintings that adorn the exterior walls. We go back as far as the time of colonization to the development of the 20th century. While there were only five in 1990, over thirty have been added over the years, painted by various local and national artists. If you're visiting in the summer, you might be lucky enough to see a new mural being created.
