Tuktoyaktuk is located in the far north of the Northwest Territories, beyond the Arctic Circle. In 2017, the Dempster Highway was extended from Inukvik to here, making it the only place where you can drive to the Arctic Ocean from the south. That said, this stretch of road is an adventure in itself, as it is not paved and conditions can be difficult. So you don't come here in a sports car!
