Located in the heart of the village of Uhrwiller, in northern Alsace, Domaine des Bufflonnes invites you to an authentic immersion in the world of dairy buffalo. Founded in 2018 by Mickaël Christmann and his wife Sophie, this innovative farm is the first in Alsace to raise buffalo for the production of exceptional dairy products. It offers fresh mozzarellas, tommes, soft cheeses, creamy yogurts, as well as seasonal products such as artisanal ice creams. These products are made on site, using traditional know-how and the farm's own buffalo milk, which is richer in minerals and trace elements than cow's, goat's or sheep's milk. The Domaine des Bufflonnes also offers guided tours that will enable you to discover the breeding, the different stages of production and the history of this unique farm. After exploring the estate, you'll be invited into the farm store, a welcoming space where you can taste and discover the wealth of artisanal products.
