A beautiful park with river, walking trails and suspension bridge, a great family destination in North Vancouver.

Superb park in the middle of which is an emerald coloured river framed by forests and rocky cliffs. Numerous hiking trails criss-cross the territory and a suspension bridge 50 m above the canyon (almost as impressive as the one in Capilano Park) crosses the canyon. A great family destination to cool off on summer days. To get there, take the 229 bus from Lonsdale Quay (Seabus terminal) to the park entrance.

Voilà une belle destination familiale pour découvrir un canyon à quelques km du centre de Vancouver. Un grand pont suspendu en fait une attraction très prisée car gratuite et moins commerciale que le Capilano Suspension Bridge. (Moins spectaculaire bien entendu)
Il y a du monde et il faut parfois se garer un peu loin de l'entrée car il y a peu de parkings.
Le site est parcouru de sentiers qui permettent de descendre dans le canyon pour y voir de téméraires jeunes gens, plonger dans les bassins depuis des hauteurs fantastiques...mais c'est interdit)
Le passage sur le pont suspendu est spectaculaire car ça bouge... regarder la rivière qui serpente en bas du le canyon peut donner le vertige.
Sympa pour un piquenique.
