This area is located in MacMillan Provincial Park, north of Nanaimo towards Port Alberni.

Cathedral Grove is located in Macmillan Provincial Park, north of Nanaimo, on the way to Port Alberni (Highway 4) through Parksville. The Cathedral Grove area is home to Douglas Pine and Giant Red Cedar, valuable remnants of the vanished forests of Vancouver Island. The tangle and position of some of the logs is breathtaking. The oldest tree ("King of Tree") is estimated to be eight centuries old. A beautiful discovery that reminds us how small we are in the face of these natural wonders.

Impressionnant
Arbres impressionnants.

A voir absolument.
