Visit Parksville to observe the migration of more than 20,000 wild geese to Alaska and Qualicum Beach to observe the migration of whales and other marine mammals. The events organised are aimed at all ages, from simple observation to an exhibition of art, photographs and sculptures. The main purpose of the festival is to celebrate nature and its various phenomena, especially wild geese, who rest and feed at this particular location before embarking on their long journey north.
