VICTORIA BUG ZOO

Victoria Bug Zoo is a minizoo located in downtown Victoria, British Columbia. It has been open since 1997 and offers visitors a unique experience to discover live tropical insects from all over the world. The zoo is home to some 50 fascinating species, including giant stick insects, magnificent praying mantises, phosphorescent scorpions, hairy tarantulas and one of Canada's largest ant colonies. Skilled educators are on hand to introduce you to the wonderful world of insects, provide information on the animals on display and enable you to safely handle certain specimens. Discounts are also available for aboriginals, people with disabilities and tourism professionals. The zoo is wheelchair accessible.
