Close to Jasper, south of the town along the Icefield Parkway, the 3 campsites equipped with Whistlers, Wapiti, Wabasso and Pocahontas offer very good comfort. Whistlers and Wapiti are located between Jasper and Whistler's Mountain and the Wabasso a little further south. In addition, 7 different areas throughout the park have basic facilities. A permit is required to move out of the campsites: it is issued by the park authorities. Reservations are based on a first-come, first-served basis.

Les campings de Jasper sont mieux qu'à BANFF. les emplacements de Wabasso sont bien dans la forêt mais un peu loin de la ville. A WAPITI la forêt semble malade, mais nous avons eu la chance de cohabiter avec les wapitis femelles qui viennent faire la sieste dans le camping certains après midi... tranquillement. Le camping côté tentes est entouré d'une clôture électrique pour éviter ce genre de compagnie.
