VIA RAIL - GARE D'EDMONTON

The Via Rail train departs three times a week from Vancouver to Toronto and the same number of trips in the opposite direction. It serves Jasper, Edmonton, Saskatoon and Winnipeg stations. Regular prices are quite prohibitive ($500 for a Vancouver/Toronto trip), but the trip is beautiful and there are many promotions. Several options are available, from economy to prestige class for maximum comfort.
