THE COWBOY TRAIL

A great idea for a cowboy trail to experience Alberta's authentic western atmosphere, along the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, southwest of Calgary, between forest and prairie. The site provides a wealth of information on sites to see, campsites, ranches, craft shops and restaurants to visit. The Cowboy Trail runs along Highway 5, 6 and 22 although the backbone of the trail follows Highway 22 through Bragg Creek, Bar U Ranch and Pincher Creek.
